I liked the Kids Count resource you provided. Anything dealing with helping under-privileged children is a big interest to me. Although I was afforded a private education for the majority of my life, I believe it is important that all children be able to receive such quality education, whether public or private. Thanks for the new resource!
ReplyDeleteI liked the resources you provided. Every child matters is a great resource. I looked at the page I just browsed a bit and the articles I saw were interesting. I liked the one about America's Abused and Neglected Children go Unprotected, this makes me think back to the days when I was a foster parent and some of the children I cared for went unprotected for years, and it was hard trying to get them to trust again. Thanks for the resources.
ReplyDeleteI like the every child matters resource you provided. Everyone (parents) do not know about that and I feel that researching information that matters most to our children should our lives. There are countless children and families that need education and information of some sort. Children need to understand that there is someone out there who care and want them to succeed in life. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI really like these choices. It is very important to recognize that every student is important. Some of the statistics on the child abuse and the amount of issues children have coming into Kindergarten was alarming. I will be reading further into this resource. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat resources Alysse! I really enjoyed exploring the Kids Count website. It is very clear and easy to navigate. There are a lot of great articles that could pertain to early childhood teachers! Thank you for sharing!
