  1. I like your quote selection, particularly the one about being underpaid. Before working for the military, the pay at my previous job was only a few cents more than minimum wage, even though I had my bachelor's degree and the required 40 hours of training from the Florida Department of Children and Family Services. I feel like our work goes unnoticed sometimes and people think that early childhood educators only wipe noses and tie shoes all day, when that is not the case. Out of the quotes you chose, which one is your favorite and why?

    1. My favorite quote is the second Mary Whitebook quote I posted. What she says is what I wish people understood and that is what early educators do!

  2. I love the quote by Aisha Ray. That is so true if we as educators plan to make an impact on the lives of the children we nurture and their families we will definitely need the education to know how to reach them.
